YORK - There have been several recent changes to the softball schedule due to rain throughout Nebraska and Kansas. "There have been significant amounts of precipitation over the past couple days and the forecast predicts more wet weather this coming Saturday," said head coach Roni Miller. Without knowing for sure what is in store the coaches from McPherson, Southwestern, and Nebraska Wesleyan, have been in contact with coach Miller trying to figure out the best course of action. After much discussion the following changes have been made:
The games originally scheduled for yesterday at McPherson College have been postponed until Friday, March 31. First pitch of the doubleheader is set for 4 p.m.
The nonconference home games with Nebraska Wesleyan scheduled for Thursday, March 30 have been moved to Thursday, April 20. Game times will remain the same with a 5 p.m. start.
And the home conference matchup with Southwestern College originally scheduled for this Saturday has been moved back a day to Sunday, April 2 with a 2 p.m. start.
