YORK - The NCCAA National Office just announced the awards from this past week's Indoor Track and Field National Championships. Mason Held (SO/West Fork, Ark) and Head Coach Justin Carver highlighted the list. 

Mason Held was named Athlete of the Meet after he earned All-American status in five events. He became a national champion with his 4x200 relay of Evans Francis (JR/Omaha, Neb), Carter Price (FR/Rapid City, South Dakota), and Dean Simon (SO/Hudson, Fla). He took second in the 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, and as part of the 4x400 and 4x800 relays.

Coach Carver and his staff earned the distinction of Coaching Staff of the Year for their performance at the Championships. Carver also earned KCAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Coach of the Year at the KCAC Indoor Championships.
