Billy Johnson (SR/Oakland, Calif) has been named to the 2017 NAIA Baseball Preseason All-America Team as an outfielder. Johnson batted .360 last spring for a team that went 46-17 and broke several program records offensively. Johnson was ranked inside the top 50 in the NAIA in 12 different categories. He ranked 1st in total runs scored with 88. He stole 32 bases on the year and added 63 RBI on 81 hits.
Head Coach Brian Walth said, "he's a tremendous outfielder. His strongest tools are his speed and power. He has an execptional baseball IQ and he's a great kid off the field as well. We're glad to have him again this year."
