The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that 451 women's indoor/outdoor track and field student-athletes have been named 2016 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Lindsay Jones (SR/Windsor, Colo) and Jaimee Stutz (SR/Bloomington, Calif) each qualified for the award. Both Jones and Stutz graduated this spring, with degrees in biology and psychology, respectively.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
